INVOLVING AND ACKNOWLEDGING VOLUNTEERS
The Upsteem.com system provides a number of ways for volunteers to make themselves easy to find and to receive recognition (in the form of a ‘passport’) for the work they do.
We encourage companies and volunteers to work together and offer the following services in arranging volunteer work:
- Posting volunteer vacancies: enabling companies to advertise projects which volunteers are welcome to join and to provide information on working conditions
- Appointing volunteers to project teams or companies: enabling volunteers to be included in a project information environment and to for additional data to be exchanged
- Electronic volunteer passports: recognising a volunteer’s work in the form of a passport they can later use with their CV to apply for positions on new projects
A volunteer passport can be made either partially or fully visible to everyone or linked to the user’s CV.
The volunteer project was launched in cooperation with the National Foundation of Civil Society.
